Local Eatery: Sushi Home

January 25, 2016

If you're on the lookout for a tasty yet affordable bubble tea and sushi place in Vancouver, you might wanna consider going to Sushi Home located at Dunsmuir Street near BCIT downtown. The place is quite small but it's cosy! I forgot to take a few photos of how the store looks like inside but for sure you already could picture that it looks very Asian! The staffs are nice and service was fast!

For $ 8.70 I got myself 8 pieces of freshly-made california rolls ($3.95 + tax) and a taro milk tea (around $3 + tax) which is just enough to make me full! Tastes super good, although I find the bubble tea a bit lacking of sweetness (blame my sweet-tooth for that!) but overall It's a two thumbs up! In terms of the portion, I believe it was generously sized! Next time, I'll make sure to step outside my food comfort zone and try their specials!

For those studying or working in downtown and needs to grab a quick lunch, they've got variety of sushi combos and bubble tea flavors for you at a very reasonable price, and you're good to go! I would definitely recommend it to any sushi lovers and students in downtown area just like myself, who are looking for a satisfying sushi meal that won't bleed your purse at all! I won't say that this is the best you could find in town as this is only the second sushi restaurant I had been yet, but I could assure you that it will not disappoint!

Any suggestions for my next great local food destination? Please feel free to comment down below.

With love, Czarina
