I used to tell that I am not an active person, in fact I am very clumsy - I trip and knock things over and physical activities aren't my forte at all. However, that doesn't mean that outdoor activities does not interest me because believe me it does. I guess it's because I didn't have that privilege to live that kind of lifestyle through the years, not until today that I am already far out of my comfort zone.
After a nice hike at Quarry Rock in Deep Cove, you definitely should head up straight to this small cozy cafe that bakes fresh honey glazed doughnut because it's amazing! Definitely worth the try despite of the long line up just to have a taste of a single honey doughnut. The honey flavored is fried to perfection, soaked in real honey and I'm so lucky that I got mine fresh from the oven so it's still warm on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Next time, I'll make sure to try out their other food options and get more than one honey doughnut.

It has been more than a year now since I moved in Vancouver. I couldn't believe I made it this far, on my own, at my early 20s. I remember how much I wanted to get to where I am today and to become the person that I am now a few years back, hoping and wishing to begin an adventure an ocean away from home and then finally making it happen at twenty.
